Gortin hostel is a beautifully renovated old school house situated in the village of Gortin. The hostel is just off the main street, opposite the bus stop and St. Patricks Church Lower Badoney. Gortin nestles in the Sperrin mountains which offer lovely walks and many miles of quiet cycle rides. Activities can be arranged with the hostel, these range from hill walking, nature trails, historic interest, cycling, canoeing, tennis, group work and use of Beltrim Castle grounds.
